Congratulations to all of our Saugatuck Junior rowers that competed at the 2010 Youth National Championship!  6 of the 9 boats representing SRC qualified for the Grand Finals!  On the boys side in the 2x, Max Meyer-Bosse and Graham Anderson controlled the race from start to finish to take home the gold medal for the second year in a row.  The Lightweight 4+ of Greg Zales, Max Malec, Ryan Shimizu, Marco Grant, and Max Gibson fought hard in a very tight race to finished 5th.  On the girls side we became the first club ever to qualify 2 boats in the Grand Finals for the 4x!  Then to make it even better Susan Greenberg, Melly Markovic, Lizzy Youngling and Alex Zadravec finished 2nd while Nicoline Lomas, Breezy Ferrara, Sam Smolka and Kathleen Taylor finished 4th!  We also finished a 5th place finish in the Lightweight 2x with Sarah Frear and Celine Bondoc, and a 6th place finish in the 2- with Nikki Wells and Georgia Pinter.  Congratulations to everyone on a great showing for Saugatuck!!
