To follow up our great results that the Junior Program brought home, our Masters Rowers started their competitive season on June 5th with Derby Regatta.

With over 50 rowers participating in this event it will take a long time to list all the winners but I would like to mention the incredible performances in women's 8+ and women's 4x and doubles as well as men's 4+, open men's 4+ and pair. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we weren't able to finish our winning streak by not racing in men's 8+ and mixed 8+.

But the highlight of this race was listening to our Novice women's 4+ singing the National Anthem as they got the medals around their necks! A great welcome for our Novice Men and Women rowers, who got their introduction to competing and bring with them so much fun and vivid spirit to our team!

Last weekend we took a smaller group to a only singles and doubles event in New Rochelle. After an incredible performance we won the most points edging NYAC by only 3 points!

This weekend we will be back on the road for another full day of events in Princeton. Let's hope for great weather and much Gold!!
