Susan Schmidt
Susan began her rowing career at Boston University, where she rowed in the varsity 8+ and was a member of the undefeated crew of 1990-91 which took home first place medals at the Head of the Charles, San Diego Crew Classic, Eastern Sprints and the National Championship, among others. After a long hiatus during which she pursued a career in finance, she returned to rowing in 2007 at Saugatuck Rowing Club and took up sculling, eventually returning to the Masters racing scene. Susan lives in Westport with her husband Thomas and children Lauren, Hannah and Justin, who she subjects to countless regattas, crazy practice times and endless amounts of rowing chatter.
